A huge THANK YOU to Snowy Rider Michael Blower, who in February 2018 competed in the 2018 Cole Classic Aquathlon which consists of a 2km run, 500m swim and finished off with another 6km run.
To quote Michael: “Those of you that know me will know that fitness has long been far from a priority in my life, so this challenge is going to be huge for me! As a regular attendee of The Snowy Ride who stays at the Thredbo YHA where the Melbourne Crew (The Smurfs this year) stay, I was inspired to raise funds for the Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation after hearing more about the work being done and seeing some of the great contributions that so many people are making at this year’s ride presentation. This experience and the fact that I had completed my first City 2 Surf this year helped me decide that it was time for a new challenge and that this time would be a great opportunity for me to try and make a contribution towards the work that the foundation does as well! Hopefully I can succeed in both of these challenges!
We are delighted to announce that Michael raised $2008.89 for SWCCF with the support of family, friends and work colleagues – CONGRATULATIONS on a wonderful personal achievement Michael, and your support of the vision of the Foundation of 100% survival for all children with cancer.
Michael
