Hyundai Help for Kids is Hyundai Motor Company’s corporate social responsibility initiative. This research project will be jointly undertaken at the Kids Cancer Centre (KCC) at Sydney Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Cancer Centre (CCC) at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, both of which are at the forefront of paediatric oncology clinical research. Three leading childhood cancer researchers will focus on the discovery, development, and exposure of new treatments focused on children with cancer and leukaemia.
The project will target newly diagnosed patients as well as research into treatments for patients who’ve relapsed. The project will also look at developing Personalised Cancer Care for High Risk Cancers, whereby treatment response in patients will be intimately measured, monitored and managed in recognition that no two cancers are the same and require specific and personalised treatments.
